If you’re like me you have a ton of MP3s on your hard drive and you have at least some kind of folder structure.
But with all those single mp3s that don’t have an album to call home my library can get really out of control. So, being the neat, I mean beat, freak that I am I found TagScanner to be a real gem. It a free Windows application that boasts such features as getting album info via online databases like freedb or Amazon. TagScanner also supports ID3v1, ID3v2, Vorbis comments, APEv2, WindowsMedia and MP4(iTunes) tags. And if you’re also like me, you think iTunes blows and is not really good at cataloging music. Besides it’s a memory hog!
