Techno Baby

Now that I’m a new father and pretty much a tech geek I’m looking for something to interest Cameron in when he gets a little older. I found this game where kids can just mash on the computer keyboard and cool images and sounds popup. It’s called Baby Smash and it’s really quite interesting.

Make Your Mixes in the Same Key or Not

Musica!, Technology 1 Comment »

As a DJ, as a retired DJ now a professional “Bed Room” DJ, I can say that this piece of software is strictly for the hardcore enthusiasts! Mixed In Key analyzes your music and tells you what key its in. This way you can have your entire mix in the same key or in a complimentary key. And since most of my music is now mp3 I think that I could come up with a wikkid set! I’m not sure if it would be boring to only stay in one key but I’ve read that this software also recommends keys.
They say “professional DJs, including Deep Dish and Pete Tong from BBC Radio 1 in using Mixed In Key software.” So, I guess it can’t be half bad!

But i got to say..the video leaves a lot to be desired!

New Opera Mini Way Faster

The new opera browser for mobile phones was released recently and I have to say I’m looking forward to getting that on my phone. For those of you who have Windows Mobile 6.0+ there are a couple of sites that will show you how to hack your Q9c to get Opera working but it aint easy. However, it sure beats the hell out of using IE. I haven’t installed the latest version but it’s said to be 50% faster than the current version. Read the rest of this entry
